A Stinkin' Halloween

Well, this is how my Halloween was stinkin'.
First of all I was just napping on the couch when My Mom decided that I needed to celebrate Halloween. She made me put on this costume. And I was not a happy little doggie, because all I wanted to do was finish my nap.
I just think the entire idea about dressing up for Halloween really STINKS!

Guess My Mom knew that when she chose my costume.
Hope you have more fun than me during Halloween.
Woof at you later,
Harley
p.s. Oh, one more thing. My Mom says that if you see someone like me running around on Halloween night you best not try to pick him up.

Fall Break 2008

Know what?

For Fall Break My Mom and Judy took me to Gulf Shores for the Shrimp Festival.
I just knew I'd have a great time licking up some tasty shrimp. But when I got to Gulf Shores My Mom had to tell me that no dogs were allowed and I couldn't go. I was really sad.
So to cheer me up My Mom took me for a long walk around the park instead.

I got to smell all the flowers and bushes. I even saw some of my old Alabama friends, and met some new ones.

That park is way fun...and it is so close to our condo.

Gotta go now .... we need to pick out a Halloween costume. Wonder what I'll be this year?
Lots of love,
Harley
p.s. Don't worry I really had a fun Fall Break, even though I didn't get to lick the shrimp.

Labor Day in Virginia

Hey, I'm on the road again. This time My Mom and Dad took me to see Emily. She lives in Charlottesville, Virginia. The next day we went to a festival in Madison, VA and I got to smell this really big dog. Aren't I brave? This bulldog lives near Emily, notice how My Mom is lovin' on that dog right in front of me. I don't like that Mona dog one little bit!

I took lots of walks around Emily's place. Sometimes My Mom would let me bring Pinkie. People would laugh at Pinkie, but I don't know why????

You're never going to believe this, but My Mom and Dad let me go to the show. I saw the movie "21". I liked the popcorn on the floor.

Emily needed help finding a new place to live. This nice girl Jamie let me go in the townhouses to pick one out for Emily. I think I did a good job because she put one on hold.
If you need help finding a place just call me,

August in Canada

Greetings to all my friends in the United States,

My Mom and Dad took me to Canada. It was a long way. I got really tired of riding, but when we got there it was pretty much fun.

The first place we went was call Niagara on the Lake. My Mom let me smell all of those flowers. She wanted me to smile for the camera, but I wanted to smell.

Another day we went to this place that has two lighthouses. I had a great time barking at the ducks. I think I scared them because they flew away!
My Mom likes to put me on stuff to take my picture. Moms are wierd that way.

I learned one important thing on this vacation... if I don't look at the camera My Mom stops taking my picture!
Your pal,
Harley

My New Alabama Friends

Guess What?

My Mom takes me for a walk every morning in Gulf Shores, Alabama. I have friends in Alabama!

Do you wanna see some of my friends?

My first buddy is Grits. She is really big and scarey. My Mom thinks I should get to know her real good because she is getting bigger and bigger every time I see her. I don't really wanna get too close, but I mind my Mom.

This is my buddy, Titan. He is handsome, isn't he. His Mom and Dad took him somewhere one day and he came back looking sharp.

I'd like to see how fast he could run, but His Mom and Dad have him all tied up and so I can't.

Titan has a brother, Max. He reminds me of my doggy mom. I look at him real close, but he barks at me most of the time. He has had a hard life so I just let him bark at me and I don't pay much attention.

I have other friends too, like Oreo and Sam, but My Mom didn't take their pictures. I hope you have friends like me. My Mom says you can't have too many friends...
Bark at you later,
Harley

My New Condo near the Dog Park

Hey everybody,
I have been really busy the entire month of June. I've been to Gulf Shores four times. My Mom and My Dad bought me a condo two blocks from my dog park! See the name of it is Parkview because it is so close to my special park. This is my favorite spot in the family room. I can see the T.V. really good from my chair.

This is my favorite spot in my bedroom. I can sit here and look out at the pool area and palm trees...

...however, over in the corner My Mom thinks my favorite spot should be inside the little fenced in area. She keeps putting me in there and I excape whenever I can because that is not my favorite spot. My Mom just doesn't have a clue sometimes.

I sure do like my Gulf Shores condo. Wasn't it nice that My Mom and My Dad got it for me!
See you at the beach!
Love,
Harley in Sweet Home Alabama

Memory Day

Hey Everybody,

It's me Harley at the beach. My Mom and Dad took me to the beach at Gulf Shores for Memory Day. It will be a great memory, won't it?

I liked the sand, and I barked at the seagulls. My Mom and I sat for a long time and watched the waves. I didn't want to put my paws in the water, but next time I might be brave and get them wet.
My Dad walked a little with me too, but I waited for My Mom to quit taking pictures so she could lead me back to our condo.

Gotta go...Catch up with you in June.
Harley
