Merry Christmas to All

It was almost Christmas...and Rosie came to my house.
She was sitting at the front door waiting on her Dad so I thought it was a good chance to give her a sniff.

Later that day I was just hanging out on my couch and My Mom let me open up one of my gifts.

It was a doggie bath towel. I really didn't want a doggie bath towel because that means that My Mom will want to give me a bath...and I don't like baths one little bit. Oh well, I was a good sport and didn't whine when she gave it to me. (I'm the black blot with the fluffy Christmas blue necklace.)

There were lots of people around at Christmas, and I got really tired. Rosie kept getting into my stuff so I had to watch her all the time. Finally, I just decided to cuddle up on My Mom's lap when everyone was opening up gifts.

I guess you could say I had a great Christmas...I got to be with My Mom a lot.
Catch you next year,
Harley

p.s. I was two years old this month!

Happy Howlidays

"Get me out of this",
I whined to myself as My Mom
was trying to squish me
into my old puppy pouch.

Then she said I could go with her,
and so I quit wiggling and let
her put me in my puppy pouch.

You won't believe what fun we had!
My Dad took the pictures so you could see.

You did see me, didn't you? I'm the black spot inside the pouch riding a
bike with My Mom. What a great Thanksgiving I had just cruising around
Gulf Shores on my bike.

Wasn't I a lucky duck?

Next time My Mom gets that puppy pouch out I'm going to hop right inside and
get on my bike.

Maybe My Mom will take you sometime too.
Catch you later,
Harley

A Stinkin' Halloween

Well, this is how my Halloween was stinkin'.
First of all I was just napping on the couch when My Mom decided that I needed to celebrate Halloween. She made me put on this costume. And I was not a happy little doggie, because all I wanted to do was finish my nap.
I just think the entire idea about dressing up for Halloween really STINKS!

Guess My Mom knew that when she chose my costume.
Hope you have more fun than me during Halloween.
Woof at you later,
Harley
p.s. Oh, one more thing. My Mom says that if you see someone like me running around on Halloween night you best not try to pick him up.

Fall Break 2008

Know what?

For Fall Break My Mom and Judy took me to Gulf Shores for the Shrimp Festival.
I just knew I'd have a great time licking up some tasty shrimp. But when I got to Gulf Shores My Mom had to tell me that no dogs were allowed and I couldn't go. I was really sad.
So to cheer me up My Mom took me for a long walk around the park instead.

I got to smell all the flowers and bushes. I even saw some of my old Alabama friends, and met some new ones.

That park is way fun...and it is so close to our condo.

Gotta go now .... we need to pick out a Halloween costume. Wonder what I'll be this year?
Lots of love,
Harley
p.s. Don't worry I really had a fun Fall Break, even though I didn't get to lick the shrimp.

Labor Day in Virginia

Hey, I'm on the road again. This time My Mom and Dad took me to see Emily. She lives in Charlottesville, Virginia. The next day we went to a festival in Madison, VA and I got to smell this really big dog. Aren't I brave? This bulldog lives near Emily, notice how My Mom is lovin' on that dog right in front of me. I don't like that Mona dog one little bit!

I took lots of walks around Emily's place. Sometimes My Mom would let me bring Pinkie. People would laugh at Pinkie, but I don't know why????

You're never going to believe this, but My Mom and Dad let me go to the show. I saw the movie "21". I liked the popcorn on the floor.

Emily needed help finding a new place to live. This nice girl Jamie let me go in the townhouses to pick one out for Emily. I think I did a good job because she put one on hold.
If you need help finding a place just call me,
Harley

August in Canada

Greetings to all my friends in the United States,

My Mom and Dad took me to Canada. It was a long way. I got really tired of riding, but when we got there it was pretty much fun.

The first place we went was call Niagara on the Lake. My Mom let me smell all of those flowers. She wanted me to smile for the camera, but I wanted to smell.

Another day we went to this place that has two lighthouses. I had a great time barking at the ducks. I think I scared them because they flew away!
My Mom likes to put me on stuff to take my picture. Moms are wierd that way.

I learned one important thing on this vacation... if I don't look at the camera My Mom stops taking my picture!
Your pal,
Harley
