It Was My First!

Oh, no...you will never believe what happened to little ole me, Harley!

I was just minding my own business when My Mom was given me lovin' and then she looked in my ear. The next thing I know she started getting really upset. At first I didn't know what was going on. But whatever she was doing to my ear hurt like the dickens.

She ran and got some clear tape and put the thing she had in her hand on the tape. Then she showed it to me.....it was my very first...TICK!

I don't know how that ugly creature got on me, but the entire experience was dreadful! Especially, since My Mom yanked it out of my ear and it left a really big scab.

How can I keep this from happening?

My Mom puts that wet expensive stuff on my back once a month...so I am afraid it will happen again.

Do you know how to keep those horrid insects off my little body? If so please tell me. I don't want to live thru another episode of a tick crawling around on me.

Hope you never get one,
Harley

Dear Harley,
In life everydog must experience a little bad in order to appreciate the good. It will make you a stronger dogperson. Stay out of tall grass where those old ticks hide.

Hi....Im one of Mr. wells students and I'm a weekly reader of Harlys blog because I have nothing else to do. Any way to cut to the chase, I just wanted to say that for my mini. schnauzer I put the K-9 advantix on him. It works really good! Its better that most other tick and flea killer because it not only kills on contact but it repels. The only bad thing is that you have to put it on each annd every month. Oh and call pet meds to order. They are cheap and the shipping is free and theygive your pet a little treat! My dog loves it!
