Merry Christmas to All

It was almost Christmas...and Rosie came to my house.
She was sitting at the front door waiting on her Dad so I thought it was a good chance to give her a sniff.

Later that day I was just hanging out on my couch and My Mom let me open up one of my gifts.

It was a doggie bath towel. I really didn't want a doggie bath towel because that means that My Mom will want to give me a bath...and I don't like baths one little bit. Oh well, I was a good sport and didn't whine when she gave it to me. (I'm the black blot with the fluffy Christmas blue necklace.)

There were lots of people around at Christmas, and I got really tired. Rosie kept getting into my stuff so I had to watch her all the time. Finally, I just decided to cuddle up on My Mom's lap when everyone was opening up gifts.

I guess you could say I had a great Christmas...I got to be with My Mom a lot.
Catch you next year,
Harley

p.s. I was two years old this month!

Happy Howlidays

"Get me out of this",
I whined to myself as My Mom
was trying to squish me
into my old puppy pouch.

Then she said I could go with her,
and so I quit wiggling and let
her put me in my puppy pouch.

You won't believe what fun we had!
My Dad took the pictures so you could see.

You did see me, didn't you? I'm the black spot inside the pouch riding a
bike with My Mom. What a great Thanksgiving I had just cruising around
Gulf Shores on my bike.

Wasn't I a lucky duck?

Next time My Mom gets that puppy pouch out I'm going to hop right inside and
get on my bike.

Maybe My Mom will take you sometime too.
Catch you later,
Harley

A Stinkin' Halloween

Well, this is how my Halloween was stinkin'.
First of all I was just napping on the couch when My Mom decided that I needed to celebrate Halloween. She made me put on this costume. And I was not a happy little doggie, because all I wanted to do was finish my nap.
I just think the entire idea about dressing up for Halloween really STINKS!

Guess My Mom knew that when she chose my costume.
Hope you have more fun than me during Halloween.
Woof at you later,
Harley
p.s. Oh, one more thing. My Mom says that if you see someone like me running around on Halloween night you best not try to pick him up.

Fall Break 2008

Know what?

For Fall Break My Mom and Judy took me to Gulf Shores for the Shrimp Festival.
I just knew I'd have a great time licking up some tasty shrimp. But when I got to Gulf Shores My Mom had to tell me that no dogs were allowed and I couldn't go. I was really sad.
So to cheer me up My Mom took me for a long walk around the park instead.

I got to smell all the flowers and bushes. I even saw some of my old Alabama friends, and met some new ones.

That park is way fun...and it is so close to our condo.

Gotta go now .... we need to pick out a Halloween costume. Wonder what I'll be this year?
Lots of love,
Harley
p.s. Don't worry I really had a fun Fall Break, even though I didn't get to lick the shrimp.

Labor Day in Virginia

Hey, I'm on the road again. This time My Mom and Dad took me to see Emily. She lives in Charlottesville, Virginia. The next day we went to a festival in Madison, VA and I got to smell this really big dog. Aren't I brave? This bulldog lives near Emily, notice how My Mom is lovin' on that dog right in front of me. I don't like that Mona dog one little bit!

I took lots of walks around Emily's place. Sometimes My Mom would let me bring Pinkie. People would laugh at Pinkie, but I don't know why????

You're never going to believe this, but My Mom and Dad let me go to the show. I saw the movie "21". I liked the popcorn on the floor.

Emily needed help finding a new place to live. This nice girl Jamie let me go in the townhouses to pick one out for Emily. I think I did a good job because she put one on hold.
If you need help finding a place just call me,

August in Canada

Greetings to all my friends in the United States,

My Mom and Dad took me to Canada. It was a long way. I got really tired of riding, but when we got there it was pretty much fun.

The first place we went was call Niagara on the Lake. My Mom let me smell all of those flowers. She wanted me to smile for the camera, but I wanted to smell.

Another day we went to this place that has two lighthouses. I had a great time barking at the ducks. I think I scared them because they flew away!
My Mom likes to put me on stuff to take my picture. Moms are wierd that way.

I learned one important thing on this vacation... if I don't look at the camera My Mom stops taking my picture!
Your pal,
Harley

My New Alabama Friends

Guess What?

My Mom takes me for a walk every morning in Gulf Shores, Alabama. I have friends in Alabama!

Do you wanna see some of my friends?

My first buddy is Grits. She is really big and scarey. My Mom thinks I should get to know her real good because she is getting bigger and bigger every time I see her. I don't really wanna get too close, but I mind my Mom.

This is my buddy, Titan. He is handsome, isn't he. His Mom and Dad took him somewhere one day and he came back looking sharp.

I'd like to see how fast he could run, but His Mom and Dad have him all tied up and so I can't.

Titan has a brother, Max. He reminds me of my doggy mom. I look at him real close, but he barks at me most of the time. He has had a hard life so I just let him bark at me and I don't pay much attention.

I have other friends too, like Oreo and Sam, but My Mom didn't take their pictures. I hope you have friends like me. My Mom says you can't have too many friends...
Bark at you later,
Harley

My New Condo near the Dog Park

Hey everybody,
I have been really busy the entire month of June. I've been to Gulf Shores four times. My Mom and My Dad bought me a condo two blocks from my dog park! See the name of it is Parkview because it is so close to my special park. This is my favorite spot in the family room. I can see the T.V. really good from my chair.

This is my favorite spot in my bedroom. I can sit here and look out at the pool area and palm trees...

...however, over in the corner My Mom thinks my favorite spot should be inside the little fenced in area. She keeps putting me in there and I excape whenever I can because that is not my favorite spot. My Mom just doesn't have a clue sometimes.

I sure do like my Gulf Shores condo. Wasn't it nice that My Mom and My Dad got it for me!
See you at the beach!
Love,
Harley in Sweet Home Alabama

Memory Day

Hey Everybody,

It's me Harley at the beach. My Mom and Dad took me to the beach at Gulf Shores for Memory Day. It will be a great memory, won't it?

I liked the sand, and I barked at the seagulls. My Mom and I sat for a long time and watched the waves. I didn't want to put my paws in the water, but next time I might be brave and get them wet.
My Dad walked a little with me too, but I waited for My Mom to quit taking pictures so she could lead me back to our condo.

Gotta go...Catch up with you in June.

My Spring Break

Spring Break was a blast! My Mom and My Dad took me to a dog park.
I got to run around without my leash and My Mom wasn't worried about me at all.

Can you believe this...the dog park had fresh water ready for me. How did they know I would be really thirsty after playing hard?
You really need to go to the dog park next Spring Break. It is in Alabama and you would have a blast, just like me.
Bark at you later,
Harley

Rosie came to my house

Woof, woof to all!

Do you know who came to my house for Easter? It was Rose, but I call her Rosie. She came with Elly. My Mom put on my kissy t-shirt. Wasn't that silly! Rosie is related!!!
We all opened Easter Baskets. Mine is the little green one on the table. I was walking on the floor by the table waiting for My Mom to give it to me. (I already know the bunny left me a Funky Monkey in it 'cause I peeked.)

After Rosie and me finished opening our Easter baskets we played tag. She wore me out...so I had to catch my breathe. I shared my toys nicely, but My Mom was not too happy with me later on that day. I really think I need to explain myself, because I caused quite a stir. You see Rosie was laying on my couch, you know the one that smells like My Mom and me, so when Rosie got up I helped My Mom out by getting the smell I like back on there. When I did "it" My Mom went around real fast grabbing towels, cleanser, and spray. I don't know why she did that because I already had it smelling good for her. Oh well, Moms are funny like that.

All in all it was a great Easter. I hope Rosie comes again to my house. My Mom said she could come back, but that I would need to be watched a little closer, whatever that means.
See you later. I gotta pack for my Spring Break to Alabama.

My First Big Boy Bone

Hey it's me Harley!

My Mom and Dad had ribs for supper and you will never believe it...but since I am a big boy they let me have one bone.

Yes, I have one all my own and I took it under the table in the Great Room to enjoy it.
Do you know why I have my paw on it? Because I just know My Mom is going to take it from me when I get it down to the end, which by the way is the best part. She does it to me all the time with my rawhide sticks. Just when I get it all mushy yummy she grabs it!

I'm watching out for her now. If she gets near me I'm outta here!!
See ya later,
Harley

My Family went to Hawaii

My Mom and My Dad, Elly and Ryan went to Hawaii without me!!!

I got to stay with Nanny and Popaw. I was a big boy and entertained Nanny and Popaw. They thought I was funny. My Mom called me on the phone when she was in Maui, but I ignored her because she left me behind. She must have felt guilty for not taking me because she brought me back a new shirt. When everybody came home I decided it was really good to see My Mom so I gave her lots of kisses. She said that the next time they go to the beach I get to go too. Hooray!

My Best Friend is Missing

Hey Everybody,

My best friend is missing. If you see her will you tell me? She has the best smell ever and I like to play with her. My Mom said that she ran away. Her name is Hana and she is black and white. She had her picture taken with me at Christmas and Halloween. She likes to play with me. I hope she will be found. Her Mom, Elly, is really worried about her. Hana is my best dog friend so I am sad.

Gotta go,
Harley

Happy Valentine's Day

Woof, My Mom said it was almost Valentine's Day.
So I wanted to send you this card from me.

My Mom bought me a new Valentine sweater to match my favorite pet dog Pinkie.

I like to lay in front of the fireplace and chew on my rawhide.

I get lots of kisses everyday, so I don't much understand about that special kissin' day.

I think I'll just lay in front of my fireplace and take a nap.
Happy Heart Day,
Harley
(the dog that's worth thousands)
