Drawing Names for Christmas

It's me, Harley!
My Mom said that this Christmas is going to be special.  She said that I get to draw a name and buy a present for a dog in our family.

Guess whose name I will draw?

First of all, I will give you some hints.
This is my cousin Rosie, remember she's the greatest smelling dog of all times.  I could draw her name.

Next is my cousin, Evie.  She is beautiful!  She wants to play with me when we get together, but I can't keep up with her!   .

Sometimes I think I am seeing double when Rosie and Evie are both around.

Another possiblity is Pippi.  He is my newest cousin.  I don't know how he can draw a name... because he is too young to read.

Finally, there is Diesel.  He is my walking buddy.  We go to the Scott County Park and take walks together.  Maybe I will draw his name.

So which dog do you think I will buy a present for?  Well, I am not tailing you now.  You'll have to check back after December 18, Sunday to find out.  I'm sure the suspense will be hard on you.  It is for me too...because I am wondering who will be drawing my name!

Bark at you Later,
Harley Dog

Yappy Birthday to Me, Harley!

 Hello Everybody,

Today is my fifth birthday!  I didn't want to, but My Mom made me wear my birthday hat. I knew that would really make her happy, but  I would rather be outside sniffing the mulch near my favorite marking tree.

Then she said that I needed to smile so she could take my birthday picture.  I didn't smile...cause I wasn't very happy. But I did stand real still and looked at the camera.  I could see My Mom smiling.  At least one of us was happy.

Next she said I could open my present.  It was a chewy bone. Yummy!

I was thinking I really needed to tell My Mom that my birthday wasn't turning out to be that exciting, but I didn't wanna to hurt her feelings.  (You know she did give my a big birthday bash on my first birthday!  Check it out on the older posts.)

So I decided just to lick on my bone for a while and waste away the day.  Then there was a knock at the door.  Who could it be?

What a surprise to see my friend!  Woof, Woof...we're talkin' good birthday fun!
My friend Malachi is my same age, 5!  He is dog-gone good fun!  He runs around the house and throws my pinkie to me.  He is a wild man and I am a Wild Dog Harley!

When it is your birthday maybe he can come over and play with you.
Yappy Birthday to Me,
Harley
